Abstract
Solid organ transplantation (SOT) increases the risk of invasive fungal infections (IFIs), such as candidiasis and aspergillosis. Voriconazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal used for treatment and prophylaxis, although it is associated with multiple adverse effects. Acute pulmonary edema has been rarely reported. We present the case of a liver-kidney transplant recipient who developed pulmonary edema associated with voriconazole use. This report highlights the importance of the identification of rare adverse events in immunocompromised patients.
